lesson learned

A funny lesson that I learned from my mom was always check for toilet paper before using the bathroom. Well one day we just got back from Lubbock and my mom had to run to the store for supper. After a long trip we usually have to potty. I went running in the bathroom, went, looked to my left and guess what? no toilet paper. My mom was already gone I couldn't do anything but sit there. About 20 minutes passed my and I finally called her. I said mom I have a slight malfunction and I need you to get home. I knew that if I told her I didn't check the toilet paper and now I'm stranded on the toilet she wouldn't rush home. Sure enough she came running in the door yelling for me, I said in here mom! She swung the door open and just looked at me. I said mom I should have listened to you. She said that's what you get, told ya so.
So lesson learned check the toilet paper roll before going to the bathroom. I won't do that again.

comma what?

My father had left our house, in the midst of a fight, between Lindsey and my mother. My mother was trying to get Lindsey to go with her to the Y to swim. Without thinking, Lindsey had blared, "I'd rather die!" at the top of her lungs. My father watched as my mother froze then burst fleeing to their bedroom to wail behind the door. He quietly tucked his notebook in his jacket pocket, took the car keys off the hook by the back door, and snuck out.

Gossip Got Your Tongue?

our conversations would be different if we triple filtered it because the things or the people we talk about isn't usually useful, it isn't usually a good thing about that person, and it usually isn't ever true. I think people gossip about others because people like the drama and I guess like to start battles with other people.
Drama is like human nature, everyone wants to make it but doesn't want to be in it. People continue to talk gossip because they could have a grudge or hold something against that person. Some people just continue to do it because they block their feelings from what other people have to say about them and have a care free attitude. We should all do the triple filter the school and the feelings would be so much better.

Story spinners option 2

The long scar just below her knee, I thought as I looked down at my leg. That scar will be there the rest of my life. It will always remind me of that day.
Me and my friends took a road trip before we all went off to college. We were on our way to Paris. We almost got
all the way there and then it happened. We were driving along and it was new years eve so we were expecting immature drunks out at this time. The driver started texting and not paying
attention to the road we were hit. They told me we rolled completely three times. We were all unconscious after the contact of the other car. Luckily we were all wearing seatbelt.
I remember waking up and this police officer was asking about the credentials for the car, of course I didn't know where they were and at that point I didn't care. The last thing I remember was looking at the road and squinting my eyes at the sun, and then, boom!, my world went black. I woke up in the hospital and there were roses everywhere. When the doctors came in, I asked what happened. He said "everyone is okay, but unfortunately for you the position you were in in the car was at a direct angle for the rear view mirror to puncture all the way through your shin. We've got it removed and stitched up so its okay."
So I came back to Paris because its been two years since the accident happened. Everybody has moved on, but I live with this scar on below my knee so I can never really forget. I made it to Paris and now its time to go home. This time I'm taking the bus.
